Perfume Pagoda is one of the most important religious sites in the North of Vietnam. Every Spring, after Lunar New Year, local pilgrims come here to pray for wealth, health and luck. The Pagoda itself is located in a huge cave built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat or by foot, as there are no roads into the area. Such a long way to get to Pagoda makes up strong belief and mystery about the Pagoda.

ITINERARY

8:00 am	Pick up at TIRANT Hotel	The location is 65kms away from Hanoi
10:00 am	Arrive at DUC wharf	Walk from Duc wharf to Yen wharf
		Get on the boat padding through the stream nested between mountains (about one hour)
11:00 am	Hiking up to Thien Tru	Take cable car to the main cave (Huong Tich) on the summit
		Return to Thien Tru (walking or cable car – your preference)*
12:00 -1:00 pm	Thien Tru yard	Have lunch at a local restaurant (excluded from the tour rate)**
2:00 pm	Thien Tru Pagoda	Visit the temple
15:00 pm	Boating	Back to Duc wharf
16:00 pm	Get on bus	Back to Hanoi
18:00 pm	See of at the TIRANT hotel

* For the way back to Thien Tru, the rate of the tour is only for one way cable car. However, it is suggested that you walk down hill from the Main Cave to enjoy at the fullest the amazing scenery of Perfume Pagoda. If you prefer round ways cable car, there will be $7/per person more added to the rate.
