Welcome to our small-group cooking class in Hanoi, where we promise an unforgettable culinary adventure! Your day begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel, and we’ll head out for a delightful stroll through a vibrant local market. Here, you’ll get to immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere, interact with friendly vendors, and select the freshest ingredients for our cooking session.
Now, let’s talk about the menu! We have a sample menu that features some of the most beloved Vietnamese dishes, including the traditional rice noodles soup with beef/chicken known as “Pho,” the mouthwatering grilled pork balls with vermicelli called “Bun Cha,” the crispy and flavorful “Fried Spring Rolls” (Nem), and the refreshing “Banana Flowers Salad with Chicken” (Nom Hoa Chuoi). For our vegetarian friends, we have an equally delightful Veg Lover Menu, which includes delectable options such as spring rolls (fresh or fried), tofu in a luscious tomato sauce, eggplant with ginger sauce, and a sweet treat called “Che,” a traditional Vietnamese dessert.
At our local house, a skilled and friendly professional cook will be your guide throughout the class. Here’s the exciting part: while we have a sample menu, what you get to cook and savor will be entirely up to the group’s preference! Together, you’ll decide on the dishes you’re most interested in preparing and enjoying. Our goal is to make this experience as personalized and enjoyable as possible for each participant.
As you don your aprons and follow the cook’s expert instructions, you’ll learn the secrets behind authentic Vietnamese cooking techniques, ensuring that you can recreate these delectable dishes back home.
